SOLAR Systems

Every system is a bespoke solution designed for your needs: we’ve spent years designing solar power solutions of all shapes and sizes that are renowned for their quality, efficiency and reliability. We only work with a select group of suppliers that provide the best after-sales support in the business. Systems are available for single or three phase power; all our systems are installed by CEC-accredited electricians within four weeks of placing your order.
SOLAR + BATTERY SYSTEMS
One of the issues with solar panel-only systems is that they work best during the middle of the day – meaning we have to supplement solar power with grid power outside of peak generation hours. Wouldn’t it be great to really make the most of all the energy you’re generating? That’s where batteries come in. Solar batteries store the energy generated by PV panels, enabling you to use it when you need it rather than paying peak prices to your electricity supplier. Plus, it’ll also provide you with electricity in the event of a blackout – giving you true independence from the grid.
SOLAR AIR CONDITIONING
Running the air con is a choice between staying cool and a huge electricity bill, or saving money but staying uncomfortable, right?
Not with a solar air conditioner. Our solar air con units are powered by dedicated solar panels so they don’t draw on your mains electricity. They’ll even keep cooling your premises if the power is disconnected or cut off (as long as the sun’s shining). Our smart units also feature an automatic on/off function – turning on when there’s enough power being supplied by the sun in the morning, and turning off when the sun goes down in the afternoon. It’s a fantastic option for residential and commercial clients alike.
Want the best of both worlds? Our hybrid systems can swap between solar and mains power at the flick of a switch; alternatively, you can prioritise solar power and top-up any shortfall from the mains. Hybrid systems are very popular with our off-grid clients, as it means the air con won’t drain the batteries during the day, leaving more power to use at night.
SOLAR SERVICING
Regular maintenance of your solar system is essential to keep it working at peak efficiency. Dirt buildup on your panels can reduce the amount of power they generate; solar modules and electrical cabling can degrade over time. Also, wild weather – cyclones or hail, for example –can damage rooftop solar PV panels, resulting in panels needing to be replaced. If left untouched, this will directly affect the efficiency of your system.
